Outstanding Vet Bills

Volunteers are essential for our day-to-day operation and your contribution can bring hope to the thousands of abandoned cats and kittens who are fighting for survival. If you have a little time to spare and love to help cats and kittens then a volunteer role with us could be for you. Unfortunately we are unable to offer "hands on" roles working directly with our cats and kittens but all of our volunteer roles directly benefit the stray and abandoned cats and kittens in the greater Auckland area that Lonely Miaow rescue.

Whether you have 1 hour a month or 10 hours a week, we probably have something for everyone. Some potential tasks include:

• Flyer delivery in your local area
• Fundraising events -  e.g. for our Book Fair we need help “on the day” but we also need people who would be willing to act as drop off points and people to help sort books and set up before the Fair
• If you like organising things, perhaps you would like to organise a fundraiser for us – anything from having a table at a local mall, to a sausage sizzle, to a garage sale or something at your workplace.  If you have an idea for a fundraiser that you would like to organise, please This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. • If you love working with kids perhaps you would like to provide content for our Kids Zone, and work with our younger volunteers.
• Perhaps you would like to approach companies who might like to advertise on our website or in our newsletter.
• If you enjoy writing, perhaps you could research and write articles for our newsletters and/or our website.
